Hi, I’m Joshiga, and I study at Chennai Public School, Anna Nagar. I love reading books, playing sports since I’m an athlete, and taking part in MUNs where I enjoy learning and speaking up for what I believe in.

I believe we should experience everything around us because life is short. If we have the opportunity to help someone, we should do it now. That belief is one of the biggest reasons why I chose to start this crowdfunding campaign.

When I visited the Government Boys High School in Mogappair East, I was truly shocked to see their classrooms and school environment. It made me feel sad that students who have the same dreams as any of us are learning in such unsafe and dull conditions.

Education should be equal. School environments should be equal too.

No child should ever have to think
“Why is my school not like the others?”

This project matters to me because a safe and cheerful classroom can change the way a child learns and how they see their future. Through this campaign, my friends and I want to transform this school for over 350 students, so they feel excited to come to school every day and feel proud of where they study. It will also help the school start Grade 11 and 12 for their students.

Every contribution, even a small one, helps these children get the safe and inspiring environment they deserve.
