Hi, I'm Iesha Ajmani, 15 years, student of grade XI, Modern School Vasant Vihar, New Delhi.

I have undertaken this campaign after a few candid conversations with a brilliant seven year old boy, genuinely inquisitive and eager to learn. This kid happened to be our house help's young son. My conversation with him and some thoughtful consideration encouraged me to be a part of this campaign. Im reaching out to you now for a moment of your time and a small contribution to help provide a promising future to the lesser privileged young Indians.

The fact that the Samarpan school in the Kishangarh urban village in New Delhi provides two meals with education, books, uniforms, etc for free encourages many parents to send their children to school. This makes an impact in their daily lives and opens doors for the lesser privileged. They are often the first ones to be educated in their entire family.

The cost of educating them is just INR 2500 per month and includes food, uniform, education books/stationery, etc. Educating a child here holds the promise of getting a job once they grow up. This will help them get their family out of the vicious cycle of poverty and labour.
