About:
My name is Pranay Aditya Acharya. I am 14- years-old and a Grade 9 student at EuroSchool, Bannerghatta, Bengaluru. Am running this campaign to help Make-A-Wish India bring hope, strength, and joy to children battling life-threatening illnesses (Mainly cancer). For these children, a single wish can transform despair into courage and help them see beyond their illness.
Each wish costs INR 10000, but its impact is priceless. Since 1995, Make-A-Wish India has granted over 95,000 wishes in partnership with 120+ hospitals and 8 regional chapters. Wishes generally fall into four categories: “I wish to go” – trips or experiences to places they dream of visiting, “I wish to meet” – meeting their heroes or inspiring personalities, “I wish to be” – living out a special role or dream for a day, and “I wish to have” – receiving a special gift or item that brings joy. Every wish, no matter how big or small, makes a lasting difference in a child’s healing journey.
I'm a bright, imaginative youngster who enjoys playing badminton and losing myself in good literature. I have always been genuinely happy when I am able to help others, and I am passionate about using my excellent public speaking and communication abilities to change the world. I search for fresh approaches to issues every day in an effort to provide hope where it is most needed. Through this campaign, I hope to use my voice and energy to give kids who are facing tough challenges courage and smiles. Even the tiniest deed of kindness, in my opinion, can brighten someone's day and serve as a reminder that dreams are possible—especially when we band together to make them a reality.
