My name is Vedha Mehta. I am 17 years old and a Grade 11 student at DPS Electronic City, Bengaluru.
I have undertaken this campaign to support children who are bravely fighting cancer and to provide their families with a monthly ration basket. While there are many organizations that help sponsor medical treatments like chemotherapy or surgery, very few focus on something equally critical – food and nutrition.
Children from low-income families often suffer from malnutrition, which weakens their immunity and makes them respond poorly to treatment. Malnourished patients face more complications, interruptions in chemotherapy, and sadly, sometimes even abandon their treatment. Proper nutrition gives them the strength to handle therapy better and increases their chances of recovery.
The cost to impact a child with one ration basket for a month is just INR 4500. With your support, we can ensure that these children not only get treatment but also the nutrition they need to fight cancer with dignity and hope.
