My name is Araina Asrani. I am 12 years old and currently studying in Grade 7 at JBCN (Chembur). I truly enjoy public speaking and debating, as they allow me to express myself and grow in confidence. However, I often reflect on how fortunate I am to have these opportunities, because many underprivileged children never get the chance to discover or nurture their own talents. They may be equally skilled in art, sports, writing, or other areas, but without access to something as basic as school bags, books, or proper footwear, their dreams are often left behind.
Through this campaign, I am fundraising to support Study Kits for underprivileged children. These kits will include essentials like school bags, proper footwear, and other items that we often take for granted. But, they can truly transform a child’s learning experience. For me, this is not just about giving
School supplies—it is about giving children dignity, confidence, and the tools they need to follow their passions and reach their full potential.
I feel honoured that my school, JBCN, has given me the opportunity to be part of this initiative. This campaign is a small step, but I believe small steps can create meaningful change. Every contribution brings these children closer to an education that is filled with possibilities, hope, and equal opportunities. I am grateful to be able to play a part in making school a better, brighter place for them.
