About:
Hi! My name is Aangad Singh Hinduja, I’m 11 years old and currently studying in Grade 6 at JBCN International School in Chembur, Mumbai.
I’ve launched this campaign because I was shocked to learn that many students from low-income families in Maharashtra, especially those who attend government schools, do not have access to basic school essentials.
Most of these children don’t have proper footwear or even a school bag. Many are forced to sit on hard floors during school hours because they don’t have anything to sit on.
Did you know that 9 out of 10 students who sit on the floor for long hours end up developing posture-related problems? It also affects their eyesight, ability to concentrate, and overall comfort while learning. Not wearing shoes daily increases the risk of foot-related diseases and infections.
These kids need stability when it comes to school and school supplies so we need to work together to help them get proper supplies and resources to help each learner.
To help solve this problem, I am raising funds for Back-to-School Kits. Each kit costs just ₹950 and includes:
• A pair of recycled footwear
• A recycled study mat
• A recycled school bag for their books and supplies
Even a small contribution can make a big impact. For example, just ₹2850 can help three students go to school with dignity, comfort, and confidence.
Every donation counts and makes the kids more confident.
My goal is to raise ₹1,00,000, which will help provide kits to more than 100 children.
This campaign is about more than just school supplies — it’s about giving these children a fair chance to learn, grow, and feel confident.
