My name is Aarav. I am 12 years old and a Grade 7 student at Valistus International School, Whitefield, Bengaluru.

Imagine travelling to school, studying for hours, and playing under the sun – all on an empty stomach. Frightening, isn’t it? Just skipping one meal a day feels hard for most of us, and it makes it difficult to concentrate or function. Luckily, we have the privilege of enjoying three meals a day, which keeps us strong and healthy – both in body and in mind.

But sadly, this is not the reality for many children across our country. For them, even one simple meal can bring immense happiness. Now, imagine being able to bring that joy to another child! Through this campaign, I have the opportunity to help make their dreams a little brighter and their lives a little healthier.

Many children drop out of school because of hunger. Without food, they feel weak, fall sick, and are unable to continue their education. The Akshaya Patra mid-day meal program solves this problem – it not only provides nutritious meals but also motivates children to stay in school and learn.

For us, it may feel like “just one meal.” But for them, it is so much more – it is hope, energy, and a reason to keep dreaming. And the best part? The joy we feel when we support a noble cause like this is truly unmatched.
