My name is Aadit Kaul. I am 13 years old and a Grade 8 student at DPS Whitefield, Bengaluru.

I have undertaken this campaign because I was surprised to learn that many students from low-income homes in Karnataka, who attend school (mainly government schools), do not have basic school supplies like proper footwear or a school bag, and often sit on the hard ground to study at school.

Most of these students are forced to sit directly on hard classroom floors for hours every day. Research shows that 9 out of 10 children in such situations suffer from posture-related issues, which can also impact their eyesight, concentration, and overall learning. Walking barefoot increases the risk of infections and foot-related diseases, further affecting school attendance. To address this, I am raising funds to provide a Back-to-School Kit for these children

The back-to-school kit costs just INR 950 and includes a pair of recycled footwear, a recycled study mat for comfortable seating at school or home, and a recycled school bag for carrying books. This is a very small amount to impact a student. Fund INR 1900, for example, and transform the lives of 2 students.
