My name is Akshaya Reddy N . I am 15 years old and a Grade 10 student at Whitefield Global School, Bangalore.
This campaign is very close to my heart. I took up this initiative because I believe supporting girls my age and helping shape their future is truly meaningful. These girls lack family support. Makkala Dhama gives them a safe space to grow, study, and thrive. Here, they receive housing, food, clothes, healthcare, school supplies, and more, while attending nearby schools. Just INR 15,000 can support a girl for 4.5 months. This shelter home ensures they grow into confident, responsible individuals. Through this campaign, we can offer them hope, stability, and a real chance at a better life.
