About:
My name is Rithika Gupta. I am 15 years old and a Grade 9 student at Whitefield Global School, Bengaluru.
Recently, I learned about crowdfunding — a method where people come together to support a cause by contributing small amounts, often through digital platforms. I now understand that it’s not just about raising money; it’s about building a community that believes in a shared goal. Crowdfunding connects stories to solutions, and this really inspired me to think about how I can make a difference.
I believe I have the right combination of skills to contribute meaningfully to such campaigns. My passion for storytelling helps me present ideas with emotion and clarity, whether it’s through writing, video, or public speaking. I’ve also developed strong communication skills—I know how to connect with people, express ideas, and motivate action, especially when the cause is meaningful.
Alongside this, my curiosity in technology gives me an edge in creating digital content, understanding platforms, and promoting campaigns online. Lastly, I’ve always been fascinated by consumer behavior—how people think, choose, and support ideas. This helps me understand how to approach different groups and make them feel personally connected to a cause.
I want to be a part of the crowdfunding campaign aimed at helping rural students in Karnataka. Many children in these areas face challenges like lack of access to quality education, school supplies, or digital tools. I think I can use my storytelling and digital communication strengths to highlight their voices and inspire others to help. By creating powerful stories, posters, short videos, or awareness content, I can draw attention to the needs of these students and raise both awareness and funds.
Moreover, I’m deeply concerned about healthcare access in rural areas. I believe that no one should be left behind just because they live far from cities. Through this campaign, I would love to contribute to efforts that support basic health check-ups, sanitary facilities, or awareness programs in villages. Education and health go hand in hand, and I see this as an opportunity to create long-term, meaningful impact.
In short, I’m ready to learn, lead, and work as part of a team that brings real change. Crowdfunding gives us the power to create collective impact—and I’m excited to be a part of that movement.
