My name is Vibhav Kogunde Matt . I am 14 years old and a Grade 9 student at Vidyaniketan School, Bengaluru, Karnataka.

I have undertaken this campaign because I was surprised and deeply concerned to learn that many students coming from a impoverished background (mainly students in the Rural areas ), who predominantly go to government schools, and do not have basic school gear and supplies like proper footwear or school bags and often sit on hard floors, sustaining injuries to their lower back and their legs.

This problem also has an indirect impact on their eyesight and their ability to concentrate and study. Lack of footwear also leads to foot-related diseases and health issues for a long period of time.

"The back-to-school kit" costs just 'INR 950' and gives students a pair of recycled footwear, a recycled study mat to sit comfortably at school or home, and a recycled school bag for books. This is a very small amount to impact and change a student's life. Fund INR 4750, for example, and transform the lives of 5 students, who desperately need these school equipment.
