About:
My name is SUHANI GUPTA. I am a Grade 10 student at Jayshree Periwal International School, Jaipur. I'm part of Students for Grassroots Education, a government-recognized student-led initiative in partnership with the Government of India's Ministry of Women and Child Development. We work to improve the lives of children and mothers in rural India. I believe that every child, no matter where they are born, deserves a safe place to learn, play, and grow.
Many Anganwadis in Niwai, Rajasthan, are in terrible condition. They lack clean water, toilets, proper classrooms, and even basic nutrition for the kids. This has a direct impact on the health and future of these children and their communities.
That’s why I’ve taken up this cause to help transform five Anganwadi centers in Niwai, including one in Mahapura. Along with my peers, I’m raising funds to provide these centers with clean drinking water, safe and hygienic toilets, strong infrastructure, nutritious food, and engaging educational materials.
We aim to raise INR 5.7 L to fund the renovation of five Anganwadis, providing essential educational materials, nutritional support, technological upgrades, and more.
Let’s work together to build a better future for these children and rewrite the story of childhood for thousands across rural India.
