My name is Yatharth Kumar Bhuyan, I am 15 years old and a Grade 11 student at The Kalyani School, Pune. Personally, I am interested more in academic pursuits and enjoy recreational pursuits such as chess and skipping.
I have undertaken this campaign to support children who have cancer and their families with a monthly ration basket.
I have undertaken this campaign because this is a critical element in the treatment of these children who go through the difficult journey of fighting cancer. Although there are several people and organizations that sponsor the treatment of financially stressed patients, there are very few that help out with an equally important issue - "THEIR FOOD AND NUTRITION".
Additionally, I have had first-hand experience in seeing how crucial a cancer-care foundation can be towards the welfare of the family of a child affected by cancer. It it truly very important to realise that these children face financial burden and cancer simultaneously.
I am committed towards improving the lives of members of the community and resolve to do so. I believe that anybody can volunteer at almost any age.
