Can you imagine trying to focus on your studies while sitting on a hard floor every day?

That’s the reality for so many kids. This can seriously affect their posture, make it hard to concentrate, and even harm their eyesight. And walking barefoot? That causes health problems too.

Hi! My name is Amelia Ajith John, I’m 14 years old and I study in Grade 9 at Sishya School, Adyar, Chennai. I am person who is driven by purpose and a sound biblical understanding. My hobbies include singing, playing piano, badminton and newly acquired interest in crocheting.

I started this campaign to make a difference to the lives of those who need help. I was shocked to find out that many students in Tamil Nadu, especially in government schools, don’t even have the basics—like proper footwear, a school bag, or even a mat to sit on during class. For just ₹950, we can give a student a Back-to-School Kit—which includes a recycled pair of footwear, a school bag, and a mat to sit on. It’s a small cost to make a huge difference in someone's life.
