About:
Hello!
I’m a 15-year-old student at The Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai, and I’m deeply passionate about sports. I have been inspired by the incredible journey of The Mumbai Wheelchair Basketball Team, supported by Project Mumbai NGO, which empowers individuals with disabilities through the power of sports.
The team includes players aged 13 to 40 who have overcome immense challenges and have proudly represented India at both national and international levels. But to keep their momentum going, they need our support.
How can we help?
Despite their talent and determination, these players face significant hurdles due to limited access to specially designed wheelchairs, training facilities, and financial assistance. Supporting one player costs around INR 80,000 per year, covering weekly practices, travel, health, coaching, and equipment expenses.
Our contributions can bridge the resource gap and ensure that these remarkable athletes continue to pursue their dreams.
Let’s come together to promote inclusivity and empower these inspiring individuals. Every contribution, big or small, brings them closer to achieving their goals.
Thank you so much for your contribution!
