Hallo.We are Shresht and Sujay, we are 12 and 13 years old and a Grade 7 student at Canadian International School, Bengaluru.
We have undertaken this campaign to support cancer patients in India who struggle with the emotional and psychological impact of hair loss due to chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
We were sad to know that many cancer patients delay or avoid treatment due to the fear of social stigma and judgment associated with hair loss.That is not fair, and I felt compelled to do my part. That's why we are supporting The Cherian Foundation in providing high-quality wigs to cancer patients from economically weaker sections of society. This would help restore their dignity and self-confidence.
These wigs are specially designed for sensitive skin and will be mainly distributed at Sri Shankara Hospital in Bengaluru. A portion of the funds will also be used across other partner hospitals in India. Each wig costs INR 9000, but Raj Hair Pvt Ltd covers INR 3000.Our goal is INR 6000 per wig.
We believe that every individual deserves to live with dignity and confidence, especially during their toughest battles. Your contribution will bring a smile to a cancer warrior's face and help them regain their self-esteem.
