Hi,
I am Anushka Mehrotra. I am a student of class nine in DPS Bangalore North. Recently, our school hosted a program to create awareness about children suffering from DMD. It was antagonizing to think that the world of millions of boys of my age was restricted to a wheelchair. Although some children like my school mate, Karanveer have an easy access to medical facilities, there are a thousand others who have been neglected and deprived pitifully.
I have always held books close to my heart. After reading more about children suffering from DMD in several books, I immediately signed up for the crowdfunding program. Fuel a Dream has served as a successful medium for crowdfunding to many of my seniors. I am certain that my campaign for children suffering from DMD will also be fruitful. After all, everyone can help someone and I want to help make a difference in the life of at least some children.
