My name is Aakarsh Midha and I am a 14-year-old and a Grade 9 student at DPS Gurgaon, Sector-45.

I am a curious and hardworking person who enjoys learning new things and taking on challenges. I believe that every day is an opportunity to improve myself and learn something new.

Just like every child, I have many dreams and wishes of my own. I know how exciting and special it feels when even one of those wishes comes true. That’s why I can imagine how much it would mean to a child whose biggest wish is waiting to be fulfilled.

Through this crowdfunding campaign in collaboration with Make-A-Wish, I want to help bring hope and happiness to a child facing a critical illness. Even though I am still a student, I believe that age doesn’t matter when it comes to making a difference. Every small contribution can help turn someone’s dream into a beautiful reality.

I am running this campaign to help Make-A-Wish India bring hope, strength, and joy to children battling life-threatening illnesses. For these children, a single wish can transform despair into courage and help them see beyond their illness. This is done with partner hospitals in NCR.

Each wish costs INR 10,000, but its impact is priceless. Since 1995, Make-A-Wish India has granted over 1,00,000 wishes in partnership with 120+ hospitals and 8 regional chapters. Wishes generally fall into four categories: “I wish to go” – trips or experiences to places they dream of visiting, “I wish to meet” – meeting their heroes or inspiring personalities, “I wish to be” – living out a special role or dream for a day, and “I wish to have” – receiving a special gift or item that brings joy. Every wish, no matter how big or small, makes a lasting difference in a child’s healing journey.
