Hi I am Manit Nayyar of grade 8th studying at JBCN International school, Borivali
I am holding this campaign for the students who are not well privileged like all of us and for those kids whom parents work hard to make ends meet. While many of us throw tantrums that we don't want to go to school, but when asked to these kids they say they want to have school even on weekends and the reason is quite interesting, many of you will think that the reason is they want to study harder so they can achieve something in life but that is not the primary reason. The primary reason is so they can have their mid day meals because their parents cannot afford these meals.
These kids have to walk way too much barefoot just to get to their school and because of this they get infected by many foot related diseases and miss 4 to 5 working days every month. They have to carry books in hand or in a normal plastic bag and have to sit on hard floor every day. Don't you think that these children must have wants as well like having a nice colorful school bags, footwear and soft mats to sit on, for this particular reason i am holding this campaign.
This campaign will help kids to get back to school kits which consists of footwear, different designs of bags and study mats .Each kit is of 900 inr and is made up of clothes that are thrown out every year.
