About:
My name is Aditya Singh. I am 16-years old and a boarding house Grade 11 student at The JPIS (Jayshree Periwal International School), Jaipur. I'm a tech enthusiast with a keen interest in gaming and sports, and who is passionate about making a positive impact on society. I have always been interested in helping the less fortunate because I truly believe that a persons birth should not determine their quality of life and deprive them of basic needs such as healthcare, housing, and education.
To that end, I've worked in a variety of social campaigns in various roles including fundraising for MasksForIndia and subsequently the lead website designer for their affiliate, ThoughtsForIndia. I've also collaborated with Plastic Bank to conduct anti plastic drives and lay down the framework for a local Plastic Bank in an earlier school. More recently, I've interned with Zomato's NGO Feeding India where we worked to eradicate malnutrition in India, and have been appointed President of the Jayshree Periwal International Chapter where we achieve the same goal in our local community. I believe this gives me an experienced insight into the incredible work the Akshaya Patra organisation has been doing, and it's something I will be honoured to be a part of.
