My name is RHEA SHAH . I am 16 years old and in Grade 11 at the Jamnabai Narsee School, Mumbai.

I have undertaken this campaign because I think it is very meaningful to impact the life of a student (who is probably my age) and his/ her family by providing them with rations/ food. Many underprivileged families are unable to provide 3 square meals a day. It is very sad that they go to bed hungry. Getting nutritious meals is a challenge.

We must be grateful that we have a roof over our heads, food on the table and a comfortable safe space to live. This is not the case for these people who earn their bread daily and do not have any money for food. Rations are a simple and effective way of giving them access to food and will also eliminate their uncertainty of making ends meet on a day-to-day basis.

Just INR 2000 is what it takes to impact the entire family for a month with rations. This will ensure no one is hungry. Healthier kids will make better students and they will focus better on their studies. It will also ensure that the kids are NOT forced to drop out of school and work. This initiative will help students and their families from low-income homes who study in local schools in Juhu, Vile Parle and Malad in Mumbai.
