My name is Aadya Mishra and am a student of Sishu Griha high school, Bangalore, grade 9.
I am more of an outdoor activity loving person and enjoy playing sports like badminton, swimming and skating with some accomplishments. I am really enjoying studies especially during the 1.5 years despite the COVID situation, wherein we are attending classes online. At no point of time, I realized we learnt any lesser than what we would have experienced if we attended school physically. My favorite subjects History, Science and Mathematics, thanks to my wonderful teachers.

In the past I have been associated with Students For Students (SFS) program wherein we visited govt. schools during the weekends. We taught subjects such as Math's, English and Science to the students from different grades. This activity made me realize the efforts our teachers put in order to teach and make us understand the subject or a concept. Tons of gratitude to all my teachers. I was awarded with APJ Abdul Kalam Ignite awards at school level for the ideas that I presented related innovation.

Currently, I am associated with Vismaya Kallike, a NGO wherein we teach simple and useful life skills such as communication and interactive conversation to the underprivileged kids who are being brought in a not so friendly environment.

I am excited to be part of this campaign and really enthusiastic to learn a bit deeper into crowdfunding and also applying it as a 1st hand experience.
