My name is Niranjana Ganesh Nair. I am 14 years old and in grade 10 at the EuroSchool, Thane. I am a resourceful and dedicated student with demonstrated commitment to work for the benefit of the betterment of our country. I am very passionate about playing chess and developing my culinary skills and have a proven track record of excellence in academics and arts. The willingness to help people in need is what I consider to be my strongest quality.
This is a campaign that will transform the lives of women in rural areas who are troubled with the inconvenient task of walking long distances to get water. The task is time-consuming and very burdensome .The women also spend long hours to get the water. This time that could be used to do something more productive and generate income elsewhere. I was thrilled and surprised to learn about the Water Wheel. This is a simple and revolutionary innovation which is very easy-to-use, can hold up to 45L of water and provides the household with enough water for a day or more.
