My name is Anya Singh. I am 15 years old and in Grade10 th at the EuroSchool, Airoli. i love to listen to music, sketch, dance, sing in a horribly high pitched voice, sketch and interact with the amazing human beings accompanying me in this journey of existence. I am very passionate about helping others especially those who are less privileged than myself. Since I have never done this before, this will not just help under privileged girls and women, but also teach me an important lesson full of moral ethics and values.

For girls and women from financially weak backgrounds, access to sanitary napkins is a luxury. They often resort to unhygienic alternatives which can be very hazardous to health. Sanitary napkins are a basic necessity for every woman. The cost of providing reusable sanitary napkins which would last for 2 years is only INR 250.

Through this campaign, I intend to give them a menstrual hygiene kit that is cost-effective, lasts long, and is not too bulky. The Hygiene kit consist of 2 regular shields, 6 regular liners, 1 large shield, 2 large liners, 1 Instruction manual, 1 ziplock bag and 1 drawstring bag to hold everything together. These are stitched by women from low-income homes thus serving as a source of livelihood for them.
