My name is A. J. R. Anuraag Nambiyar. I am a Grade 9th student at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vasant Vihar, Delhi.
I have undertaken this campaign because I believe that the accident of birth should not determine the privileges of a human being. Education is a natural and inalienable right. Depriving a child of education is a deplorable act that violates the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Fundamental Duties as laid down in the Indian Constitution. Many children are deprived of education because their parents cannot afford to pay their fees. Through this campaign, I want to support the cost of educating these children from low-income homes and in some cases also giving them devices for online learning. This is being done by Chinmaya Mission Delhi as a part of their Happiness Unlimited campaign.
