My name is HITHESH RAI P. I am 18 years old and in Grade 12 at School at Vidhyaashram College, Mysore.
I have undertaken this campaign because I believe this is an initiative that honestly transforms the lives of women in rural India. This initiative will impact women in rural areas of Rajasthan. Carrying pots of water on their heads, every day, for a lifetime is an age-old practice in villages all across the nation. Women have to travel long distances making the task that much more difficult. It is not only back-breaking but time-consuming. Not only is fetching this water a tedious process but due to the ergonomics of the water pots, it also leads to a wastage of water.
The Water Wheel solves this problem forever & gives them time, better health, and less stress. Let us together help make their lives easier. The time saved is used for other chores and in a lot of cases leads to higher income as the time saved is put to good use by women to earn money. This impacts the household income and leads to a happier family.
