My name is Bhavini Khanna. I am 16 years old and in Grade 11 at carmel convent School, Delhi . Being in a convent , I was always inclined towards community service. I have visited to some orphanages , whenever we used to distribute food items or presents we got for them the smile on their face was priceless . I would love to see more children happy and that’s the reason why I want to be a part of this campaign.
As India continues to battle the pandemic it is having a severe impact on millions of children who go to school and who come from vulnerable low-income communities. Schools being shut has directly impacted children around the country who go to govt schools and were dependant on the Mid-Day meal they received every day. These kids are now at home and need nourishment and also something to keep them from boredom. The Happiness kit is the perfect answer and takes care of multiple needs of these children.
I request all of you to support my campaign so that we can also contribute to their well-being of these children in our own small little way. The funds will be used across different states that Akshaya Patra operates across.
