My name is Harsh. I am 14 years old and a Grade 9 student at the Heritage Xperiential Learning School, Gurgaon

I am completely new to any extracurricular engagements which hold any sort of social significance. It is saddening to see the lives that are led around us by people who are basically invisible to the public. And it only angers me that I haven't the courage to do good by them. Therefore, this is an opportunity I think I cannot afford to miss. Frankly, my diffidence is a black spot on my conscience. The ability to do something good will also help to clear the same.

There is an instinctive sense of pity and generosity that I think one can tap into in order to gain the support of members of the public. As we were told, we also need to set a story in place in order to gain this support. While intrinsic generosity isn't necessarily in everyone, it is the spontaneity of the aforementioned instinct that we must exploit.

I think it is about time I bypass this diffidence. All it will take me is one second. Once I am engaged, it will be difficult for me not to do any good. Additionally, the odds of me receiving a life like the one I have now aren't too bright. Therefore, I endeavour to make the most of this one. While this is ambitious, my registration will be an incremental crawl towards a grand journey, that I hope I am brave enough to continue after my first campaign

I have undertaken this campaign because I think being able to impact the life of a student (who possibly is my age or younger) by improving their quality of education would be incredible. This is being done for students in government schools across Goa, who have a lot of promise but not the same opportunities as I. Over the last two years, these schools have worked hard to make teaching more interactive and focused on improving students' skills rather than only have them regurgitate content from their textbooks for tests. They need support to continue to do this
