My name is Aadhish. I am fourteen years old and in Grade 9 at Sishya OMR.

I have undertaken this campaign because I believe a good learning environment is important for every child regardless of their social and economic status. These Single Teacher Schools (STS) are an innovative concept which will help a lot of students in remote and rural areas. Many of them have parents who are daily wage labourers and cannot afford good quality education. The fact that raising INR 15000 can transform an entire school which consists of at least 30 students is something that I am very excited about.

The cause for this charity is that these Single Teacher Schools do not have proper facilities. These facilities include proper writing desks, lighting etc. These schools often take place in the evening times which, I think is obvious, leads to issues like trying to study in darkness and other issues.
Through this charity, these Single Teacher Schools will be provided with writing desks and proper lighting via solar lamps. This may sound expensive but it is actually INR 15,000; and this will provide enough funds to provide desks and a lamp to at least 30 such students who learn via these Single Teacher Schools. Imagine how much that could change their lives!

Getting a good education will definitely transform their lives and the lives of their families. Many of their parents cannot even read and write. Please support my campaign and let us together bring light into the lives of these fellow students.
