My name is Aryan Gupta! I am 17 years old and I am currently in Grade12, studying at Nahar International School, Mumbai.
I am running a crowdfunding campaign to help differently-abled children in my vicinity.
The United Nations report of 2015 suggests that there are 2.9 million children with disabilities in India. Out of this only 61% of the children, aged 5-19 years, were attending school, and only 18% of the adults with a disability managed to complete their schooling. There are insufficient facilities or aids to support them and teachers are not equipped to meet their educational needs. Their lack of education and skills results in their inability to find employment.
This campaign aims to help educate these children and provide them with training in basic skills to help them find secured jobs. It costs just INR 2100 to impact a differently-abled child for an entire month and change their life.
