My name is Anoop. I am 16 years old and a Grade 11 student at the Chirec International School in Hyderabad.
COVID-19 has impacted all of us, but the worst hit are the poor people, migrants and daily wage workers. Hyderabad & Telangana have not been spared and we are seeing its impact all around us Most of these people have lost their source of daily income and as such cannot afford basic necessities such as food. There has been a surge in cases & the situation will only get worse before it gets better. Feeding these poor people is the number one -COVID relief measure.
At this juncture, it is our responsibility as the privileged sections of the society, we need to step up & support them through this difficult time. The initiative I am doing with Akshaya Patra is to help feed thousands of people. Akshaya Patra has already served and distributed over 5 CRORE meals across India and over 60 lakh meals/food packs in Hyderabad/ Telangana. The need and demand for more meals continue.
I request all of you to support my campaign so that we can also contribute to their well-being in our own small little way. Let's come together and do our bit to help our fellow countrymen.
