My name is Sanjana Subramaniam. I am 17 years old in Grade 12 at Chirec International School.
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of us in many ways. Perhaps the hardest hit are the daily wage earners, migrant labour and the financially poor. Even after the lockdown is lifted, their plight remains the same as jobs will be scarce and they fear starvation more than the virus itself.
We are the privileged ones and it is our duty to step up to help them through these difficult times. I request all of you to support my campaign so we can ease their hardship in our own small ways. This campaign aims to provide meals and bottled water to them across Hyderabad, done by Akshaya Patra (through their kitchens) in close coordination with the local administration. Let's come together and do our bit to help our fellow countrymen in their time of need!
