My name is Abhiram Putta. I am 13 years old and a Grade 9 student at Chirec International School.
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of us in different ways. Perhaps the hardest hit is the daily wage earners, migrant labour and the financially poor. Even after the lockdown is lifted, their plight remains the same as jobs will be scarce. They fear starvation more than the virus itself. I feel it is our duty to provide some relief to these people and help ease their struggle in any possible way that we can. A good way to help is through the Akshaya Patra Campaign.
This campaign aims to provide meals and bottled water to them across Hyderabad and is done by Akshaya Patra( through their kitchens) in close coordination with the local administration. Let's work together to help ease their pain and support them through these hard times
