Hello, My name is Haymant and I am 15 years old currently studying in Chirec International School.
The recent COVID-19 pandemic has affected all worldwide. Although it has affected all of us, the suffering is much higher for the lower income group of our country. People who are suffering from poverty just want a meal to satisfy their hunger. The least we can do is provide meals to these people and support Akshaya Patra in the process.
In 8-th grade a couple of friends and I conducted a donation drive for Akshaya Patra and we successfully raised 1.5 lakh rupees from 3 communities. Donating and helping the community when they are in need makes a huge impact on their lives.
I believe Indians are extremely generous people and with a collaborative effort we can solve this problem.
