My name is Deeksha. I am 13 years old and a Grade 9 student at CHIREC INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL.
My hobbies include watching Netflix; playing basketball; reading novels and hanging out with my friends. When we had a session at school about crowdfunding. I realised I have the best education, a full belly and loads of luxury while others do not have a proper education and are suffering from malnutrition idea of crowdfunding led to me thinking about sharing my happiness with others by raising funds - charity work. if we deserve what we have others deserve it too.
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of us in different ways. Perhaps the hardest hit is the daily wage earners, migrant labour and the financially poor. Even after the lockdown is lifted, their plight remains the same as jobs will be scarce. They fear starvation more than the virus itself.

We are the privileged ones and it is our duty to must step up to help them through these difficult times. I request all of you to support my campaign so that we can also ease their hardship in our own small way. This campaign aims to provide meals and bottled water to them across Hyderabad and is done by Akshaya Patra( through their kitchens) in close coordination with the local administration. Let's come together and do our bit to help our fellow countrymen.
