My name is Sonya Kakodkar, I am a Grade 10 student at Ecole Mondiale World School, Mumbai.
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of us in different ways. Perhaps the hardest hit are the migrant workers, the needy and the daily wage labourers. Their lives have been turned upside down overnight and they are having a traumatic experience.
Suddenly they are without any source of income, and even something as basic as food is a nightmare for them. So how will they survive?
I learnt about this initiative being done by the Rotary Club of Bombay where they are currently distributing 30000 meals every day through multiple kitchens. My campaign aims to help as many of them as possible. I request all of you to support my campaign so that we can feed them and possibly feed many more.
The funds collected from this crowdfunding campaign would transform their lives and bring more than just a smile to them. Let's come together and do our bit.
