My name is Akshun and I am a Grade 10 student at ISH.

There are lots of things passion leads to maybe success, or maybe loss? Or, it could be something much more... but the passion of sharing is what the world needs.
There are so many charities existing for aid for those in dire need, but that only goes to the government, not to the people who love and want with a passion to share, not to those who know it is of paramount priority. This is what I want to accomplish with Fuel a Dream, to give to those who will take immediate action, to Akshaya Patra.

What is my campaign to help raise money for Akshaya Patra for? What is Akshaya Patra? Akshaya Patra’s midday meal program provides healthy and large, hot meals for schoolchildren in government schools. But why exactly do they do this? For many children attending these schools, the lunchtime/midday meal they get is normally their first, as they would belong to rural families and their parents would normally go to work early. The parents would prefer these midday meals as they would not need to invest their own money for their kids food, and school is practically free babysitting, so the kids would be ravenous and would love the food when they get it. Akshaya Patra desires to make these meals the best they could be, and would indirectly influence their learning in a positive manner. In addition, these means may as well be some children’s only meal, so Akshaya Patra would influence these young children’s nutrition in a significant way, as long as YOU give them the opportunity, with a small but generous donation.

With this, I can help, and I can give the
most valuable things that government school-children need : food and the desire to learn.
