Hey there! I am Krisha Gandhi, currently studying in grade 11 at Jamnabai Narsee International School, Mumbai.

In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, “There are people in the world so hungry, that God cannot appear to them except in the form of bread.” Every day, through our hustle and bustle, we all need food to fuel ourselves, to work better, to practice harder. We have parents that don’t let us leave the house without having a good heavy breakfast. We have friends that share their meals with us, but in many places, there are children who spend their day on empty stomachs. They feel blessed to have the sight of one filling meal in the day.

We are fortunate to have a variety of options, every day, to pick from. But there are kids who leave their homes, early in the morning, go to school, play under the scorching sun, help with household chores and all without eating.

i have always wanted to help our society grow, and what better way to start than feeding not just 1 but 20 children and many more. Please support my campaign and let us together contribute to the happiness of these children. The “Akshaya Patra's mid-day meal program”, not only motivates students to go to school but also ensures that they remain healthy and continue with their education.

It may seem like one meal to us, but we will never be able to measure the joy this brings to little kid at school.
