THE BACKDROP:
Across India, disability prevalence among children is officially reported at 2.21%, while the WHO estimates the true figure to be 5–8% due to undiagnosed conditions.
Telangana and Andhra Pradesh report particularly high rates of locomotor disabilities, and improved infant survival has led to a growing number of children who now require lifelong special needs care.
Sarah’s Covenant Homes (SCH) is located in Prashanth Hills, Raidurgam, Hyderabad, and supports some of the most vulnerable among them, children with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, epilepsy, neurological impairments, blindness, deafness, and multiple co-morbidities who have also been abandoned.
Their challenges fall into four critical areas:

Through this campaign, let's help more children like Anveshita take their first steps. Your support at Sarah’s Homes turns 'impossible' into 'I can.'
THE SOLUTION:
My friends and I are running this campaign to support Sarah’s Covenant Homes, an organisation established in 2009 to transform the lives of children with severe disabilities. SCH was founded to provide dignity-first, lifelong care for those requiring specialised residential support due to conditions like Autism, Cerebral Palsy, epilepsy, and sensory impairments. For over 15 years, they have been a sanctuary for children with complex co-morbid conditions, ensuring they grow up in a loving environment rather than a traditional institution.
SCH operates not as an institution, but as a permanent home integrating medical care, nutrition, rehabilitation, education, and emotional bonding.

Sarah’s Covenant Homes is currently home to 100 residents, including 50 children who require specialized care. As the organisation expands, these numbers are expected to grow in the coming years.

SCH solves the crisis of abandonment through a 360-degree support system that treats every child as family.
The impact begins with 24/7 medical care, where in-house doctors manage emergencies, and specialised physiotherapy prevents chronic pain. Recovery is fueled by precision nutrition, with over 500 dietitian-prescribed meals prepared daily to meet complex needs. Beyond physical health, SCH empowers children through speech and life-skills therapy, giving non-verbal residents a voice and a path to independence.
By prioritising dignity and professional care within small, loving home units, SCH ensures these children never face the world alone again.

All funding has 80G tax benefits.

MORE STORIES OF IMPACT:

ABOUT ME:

My name is SHIVAM AGARWAL. I am 17 years old and a Grade 12 student at Chirec Intl School, Hyderabad. I am doing this campaign to provide a lifeline for some of India’s most vulnerable children.
In regions like Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, thousands of children face the dual crisis of severe disability and abandonment, often left without the specialised care required for Autism, Cerebral Palsy, or neurological impairments. By supporting Sarah’s Covenant Homes (SCH), I am committed to ensuring these children are no longer just statistics, but members of a family where their dignity is restored, and their medical needs are met with excellence.
This campaign directly funds a 360-degree support system at SCH’s residential facilities within the Hyderabad medical catchment area. Your contribution provides 24/7 clinical care, specialised physiotherapy to prevent chronic pain, and over 500 dietitian-prescribed meals daily for children with complex nutritional needs. We are moving beyond basic survival to offer holistic recovery through speech and life-skills therapy, empowering non-verbal children to communicate and gain the independence they deserve.
The goal of this initiative is to turn a "lifelong disability" into a lifelong promise of belonging. By donating today, you are ensuring that these children never face the world alone again, transforming "impossible" medical challenges into stories of strength, health, and permanent family.
