ABOUT ME AND THIS CAMPAIGN
I am Aarav Marwaha, a student at Pathways School, Gurgaon, and I have always believed that standing by is not an option when the most vulnerable are left to suffer. This campaign is my effort to raise INR 1L for People for Animals (PFA) Gurgaon so that hundreds of injured and abandoned animals can receive food, shelter, and medical care.
At People for Animals, hundreds of strays receive food, shelter, and urgent medical care every day, sustained by thousands of kilograms of food and lakhs of rupees contributed by generous donors. Still, the gap between need and available resources is vast. This isn’t about dramatizing suffering; it’s about confronting the truth.

THE BACKDROP
One ordinary afternoon, I witnessed a tragedy that changed me. A stray pup was struck by a reckless driver right in front of my eyes. I rushed to help, but nothing worked. What has stayed with me is not only that tragic moment but also her mother, Nautanki, standing powerless and watching her baby fade away. That image will never leave me. It revealed the truth of what countless stray animals face every single day: hunger, traffic, untreated wounds, and a fight to survive in cities that rarely make space for them.
THE SOLUTION
That is where People for Animals Gurgaon steps in. Every single day, the organisation rescues and treats between 10-15 injured or sick animals, giving them food, shelter, and medical attention. At any given time, nearly 500 animals are under their care, ranging from dogs and cats to cows, pigs, camels, goats, and sheep.
It takes just INR 55 a day to feed and shelter one stray dog.

ABOUT PEOPLE FOR ANIMALS
People for Animals (PFA) Gurgaon was established in 1998 under the vision of Smt Maneka Gandhi ji and is Haryana’s oldest and largest all-animal rescue centre. Located in Village Sadhrana, Gurgaon, the hospital, shelter, and gaushala provide round-the-clock treatment and care. Each day, 10–15 new cases of road accidents, tumours, infectious diseases, or life-altering injuries arrive at their doors.
The organisation runs a 24-hour veterinary clinic and two ambulances, along with an operating theatre, X-ray and blood testing facilities, an Animal Birth Control unit, and an intensive care unit for both large and small animals. With a dedicated team of 30 staff members, PFA ensures not only medical care but also shelter, food, and humane handling for every animal.
This campaign is not about dramatising suffering but about confronting reality. Every contribution will go directly to keeping ambulances on the road, feeding hungry mouths, and healing wounds that would otherwise go untreated.

TAX BENEFITS
Funding for this campaign is eligible for tax breaks as People For Animals is a registered NGO, and you can avail of benefits under Section 80G of the IT act. Foreign funding is not accepted.
FAQs
Will we get feedback on the usage of funds?
Yes. After the money has been collected, it will be transferred by Fueladream to People For Animals. We will update you with the report of how the funds were used. Once we get this information, we shall upload a report on the UPDATES section of this campaign. You will then get an alert and can read details about the details.
When do we get the receipts?
The receipts will start getting processed about 4 to 6 weeks AFTER the campaign is closed and will be sent to you directly.
