THE BACKGROUND:
Shristi Yadav is the daughter of our driver, an exceptionally smart and bright young girl who dreams of becoming a Software Engineer.
Her father, Suberaj Yadav, comes from a humble farmer family background in Uttar Pradesh and moved to Mumbai in search of work opportunities. He has been working as a driver for the past 15 years in Mumbai, where he built his small family with his wife, who is a homemaker, and 3 children. Despite facing financial constraints, Shristi's family supported her educational aspirations. Her father's hard work and her family's love have been her pillars of strength. Shristi's pursuit of higher education holds the promise of a brighter future for her entire family.
They live in Jogeshwari East.
For the past 2 years, Shristi has been studying very hard, preparing for engineering entrance examinations, both for All India and Maharashtra. Despite living in sub-optimal conditions, where her father wasn’t able to provide her with essentials like a study table and chair, internet connection at home, etc., she persevered through it all.
Her determination and resilience paid off when she secured a remarkable 97.37% in the Maharashtra CET, earning her a seat in Computer Science at Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering in Bandra (W). (This is located next to the Taj Lands End hotel.)

ABOUT ME AND MY APPROACH:
My name is Garima Pathak, a mother of two daughters and an HR professional with 18 years of experience. Shristi’s father, Suberaj Yadav, has been working with us as a driver for many years. Knowing his family’s struggles and seeing Shristi’s exceptional determination, I felt compelled to support her education.
Shristi has secured admission to Computer Science at Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering, Bandra (W), with an impressive score. However, her family cannot afford the fees. The total 4-year cost is INR 8.1L, and through this campaign, I aim to raise INR 7.5L immediately. If we are able to raise more, it will further ease her journey.
