Globally, an animal is abused every 60 seconds. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, PETA has seen an 80% increase in the number of animal abuse cases. Animal abuse leaves deep emotional and physical scars on these loving creatures. These animals have suffered unimaginable pain due to no fault of their own at the hands of cruel individuals.
THE CAMPAIGN
Leela’s Place is an NGO based in Noida that rescues physically abused and emotionally broken dogs. The NGO believes that every form of life should live with dignity. We have partnered with this NGO to rescue dogs from physical and emotional abuse and nurse them back to health, providing them with the required veterinary care, nutritious food, and finding loving homes for their adoption.

My name is SANAA YADAV. I am 15 years old and a Grade 11 student at The Shri Ram School, Aravali.
I love animals and dogs in particular. It is very sad to see that several stray dogs face tough situations on a daily basis. They are physically and mentally abused. These are voiceless beings who suffer silently. I have partnered with Leela's Place Foundation, an NGO based in Noida, to rescue and give a better life to these dogs.
Leela's Place rescues and cares for stray dogs in distress. They have rescued 300+ dogs already. It costs just INR 1500 to rescue, vaccinate, feed and care for one dog for a month. If you fund INR 3000, you help 2 dogs.

ABOUT THE NGO
Leela’s Place Foundation began not as an organization, but as one woman’s heartfelt response to the daily suffering of stray and abandoned dogs she encountered around her. Moved by cruelty and helplessness, she began by feeding and caring for dogs on the streets. One night, a photograph of a sorrowful Spitz changed everything. That moment led to rescuing her first few dogs, even without a plan or funds. As more animals arrived, her compassion expanded into action. By 2017, she had already cared for over 60 dogs and officially registered the NGO. Named after Leela, a fragile mixed-breed puppy who died in her arms despite every effort to save her, the foundation became a sanctuary in her memory. Since then, Leela’s Place has named and cared for 628 dogs, many of them injured, elderly, or abandoned pets, giving them clean, loving homes and medical attention. With an average of 120 dogs at any time, Leela’s Place remains a heartfelt, determined effort to ensure these animals live with dignity and joy.

Will we get to know the details of how the money was spent?
Yes. After the money has been collected it will be transferred by Fueladream to Leela's. It will take from 60 to 120 days after that to get details of who the beneficiary was with details of them. Once I get this information from them I shall upload details of the beneficiaries on the UPDATES section of this campaign. You will then get an alert and can read details about the beneficiaries.
When do I get the receipts?
The receipts will start getting processed about 4 to 6 weeks AFTER the campaign is closed and will be sent to you directly.
