I was born into a family of modest means, my father, Iftikhar Khan, a farmer from Satla village in western Uttar Pradesh's Meerut district, instilled in me the value of education. At the very young age of 12, he sent me and my elder brother to Delhi to study at Jamia Millia Islamia, a decision that would shape my destiny.
Those experiences taught me the importance of speaking up and working together to create change. Now, I've entered politics to continue advocating for the values that foster peace and harmony in our society. My goal is to champion the causes that promote social cohesion, understanding, and mutual respect, ultimately creating a more harmonious community for all.
MY JOURNEY: WHERE I COME FROM?
My time at Jamia was transformative. I not only completed my education but also developed a deep connection with the community. I became dedicated to giving back, particularly to students from remote villages who aspired to be part of the Jamian dream. My house in Ghaffar Manzil became a sanctuary, fondly known as the 'haveli', where no cry for help was left unanswered. I opened my doors to people from all over India, providing food, comfort, and familiarity. I built a network of like-minded alumni and galvanized my friends and family to support this work, driven by my belief in the power of education for all.
Today, as I mark my fourth year in Tihar Jail, I am reminded of the challenges I face. Despite being incarcerated, my commitment to serving and uplifting my community remains unwavering. This upcoming Ramzan will mark my fifth year in prison. Together, let us continue to work towards a society that values equality, justice, and education for all.

While I'm unable to be physically present, my wife Nooreen Khatoon, my family, and my party have been bravely carrying the torch, connecting with voters, and sharing our vision for a brighter future. I'm deeply grateful to those who have taken the responsibility of canvassing for me, inspiring countless individuals with passion and dedication.
WHY DO I NEED YOUR UNITED SUPPORT?
I'm proud to have founded the Alumni Association of Jamia Millia Islamia (AAJMI) in 2018, serving as its first President. As President, I launched initiatives like a scholarship program for 150-200 students annually and proposed a blood bank for the university and local community.
MY VISION:
- Promote Inclusive Development: Ensure that all sections of our society have access to quality education, healthcare, and employment opportunities.
- Strengthen Community Relations: Foster harmony and understanding among diverse groups to build a cohesive and peaceful community.
Enhance Infrastructure: Improve public amenities, transportation, and sanitation facilities to elevate the quality of life for all residents.
Build Community Leadership: Build strong leadership within the community that can stand up boldly for the issues of the community and lead from the frontlines when needed.
THE 2025 ELECTIONS :
My vision for India is a society rich in social justice, economic equality, and cultural harmony. I envision a nation where education and healthcare are universal rights, where youth and farmers are empowered, and where women have equal opportunities. Our collective Vision for the country is encapsulated in our Paanch Nyay.
