In the rhythmic heart of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, the vibrant city with the echoes of UNESCO heritage sites like Ajanta Ellora Caves, Devmudraa, a movement school and NGO, is gearing up for the triumphant return of Samskriti, a festival of classical dances, now in its 11th year.
The festival, which gracefully danced through a decade from 2010 to 2019, experienced a temporary pause from 2020 to 2022 due to the pandemic and financial hurdles.
As the world gradually harmonized towards normalcy in 2022, the passionate souls behind Devmudraa rekindled the festival's flame. However, the melodies of revival are accompanied by a financial challenge, with a shortfall of INR 2,00,000 still awaiting resolution. Undeterred, the Devmudraa family, comprised of trustees, students, and their dedicated parents, has come together to revive the legacy of Samskriti.

This celebration not only showcases renowned artists but also holds space for the future torchbearers of classical dance through the Sowbhagya Pratibha competition. In memory of the late Smt. Vaddadi Sowbhagyam, this competition has nurtured over 500 young talents since its inception in 2016.
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, a city steeped in heritage, becomes a stage where culture is not just celebrated but cherished as "our culture, our pride."
I am V. Soumyasri, the proud founder of Devmudraa Movement School, and I'm thrilled to share the beat of our cultural heart with you. For a decade, we've danced through the enchanting rhythms of Samskriti, a festival of classical dances that has become a celebration of our rich heritage. However, the melody faced an unexpected pause in 2022, leaving us in a momentary silence.
But here's where the magic happens. Against all odds, I've embarked on a mission to revive that enchanting rhythm, to bring Samskriti back to life. I am doing this crowdfunding campaign to raise INR 2 L, a journey that resonates with the very essence of our cultural legacy. It's not just about the stage; it's about the community—the trustees, students, and parents rallying together to rekindle this flame.

Devmudraa A Movement School was established in 2007 and is dedicated to the upliftment and encouragement of cultural aspirations in the surrounding areas.
Funding for this campaign is eligible for tax breaks as the NGO, Devmudraa A Movement School, is a registered trust, and you can avail of benefits under Section 80G of the IT Act. Foreign funding is NOT accepted.
The receipts will start getting processed about 4 to 6 weeks AFTER the campaign is closed and will be sent to you directly.
