Taabar, a passionate child rights organization, has been a tireless advocate for the welfare of children in India since 2007. Collaborating closely with government agencies and NGOs, Taabar is committed to building a child-centric society and providing marginalized and vulnerable children with the opportunities they deserve.
A shining example of their dedication is the Bal-Basera Children's Home, established in 2015 under the Department of Child Rights and registered under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2015.
This haven accommodates orphans, runaways, and rescued children, offering education, vocational training, and essential mental health support.
At present, 41 children live in the shelter home, and all of them are enrolled in school.
KhelSahayata is a noble initiative that seeks to provide a helping hand to those who have limited access to sporting opportunities. We believe that every child deserves the chance to play and enjoy sports, regardless of their socio-economic background.
We, a group of students from Jayashree Periwal International School in Jaipur, are committed to supporting the children at Bal Basera shelter home by providing them with much-needed sports equipment.
While the children at Bal Basera have a playground, their ability to fully engage in sports is restricted due to the absence of adequate sports equipment. We believe that providing high-quality sports gear, will not only foster physical activity, skill enhancement, and confidence-building among these budding talents but also contribute to their overall well-being.
Your support will not only empower over 350 children to follow their sporting dreams but also promote inclusivity and healthier lifestyles within our community.
My name is Veeir. I am 17 years old and in Grade 12 at Jayshree Periwal International School (JPIS), Jaipur.
I have undertaken this initiative to support talented children who excel at sports. This campaign aims to target children living in the Bal Basera children’s home in Jaipur.
We believe that by providing high-quality sports gear, we can not only encourage physical activity, skill development, and confidence-building among these young talents but also contribute to their overall well-being. It’s our duty to step up and support these budding athletes. Just INR 1196 can enable a child to pursue their dream sport, while just INR 3588 can provide three children with the opportunity to enjoy sports for an entire year.

TAABAR is an Indian non-profit and non-governmental organization that provides care and protection to children in need. Provides residential care, education, and skill-building programs, daycare programs, and healthcare support.
Funding for this campaign is eligible for tax breaks as TAABAR is a registered NGO, and you can avail of benefits under Section 80G of the IT Act. Foreign funding is not allowed.
