BACKGROUND
The biggest obstacle to universal education and freedom from the clutches of poverty is child labor. The child labor scenario in Rajasthan closely emulates the national trend, accounting for nearly 10% of the country’s child labor.
Liberated from trafficking hubs in states like Bihar, Jharkhand, and Rajasthan, many children find refuge in shelters. These young souls, often homeless, lack the necessary support for their future, education, and daily nourishment.
SOLUTION:
Paathshala is on a path to ensuring access to refuge and supplementary learning for underprivileged children and orphans, ensuring universal access to fundamental education.
It bridges the gap between marginalized children and the nurturing guidance and support they deserve.

ABOUT ME AND THIS CAMPAIGN:
My name is KIARA. I am 11 years old and a Grade 6 student at the Jayshree Periwal Intl School, Jaipur.
I am supporting this initiative because I believe that being able to impact the lives of underprivileged/street children by transforming their education, is the only way to get them out of the vicious cycle of poverty. It’s our responsibility to extend our unwavering support to nurture the educational aspirations of these children.
The Jaipur-based NGO - Paatshala, is dedicated to bridging the gap between these underprivileged children and the support that they rightfully deserve. By providing them with access to education, we believe we can empower them to build a better future for themselves and break the cycle of poverty and vulnerability.
The cost to impact one child is approx INR 24000. (INR 2000 per month - this includes mid-day meals)

Paathshala trust is a Jaipur-based NGO working on child rights and sustainable development goals. Paathshala Trust was founded by International Children peace prize winner ‘Om Prakash‘ with his wife ‘Mohini‘ and alumni of AIESEC ‘Pritam Singh‘ with the vision of creating a society where no child is denied access to education and forced to work in exploitative jobs that are often underpaid and in dangerous conditions. Whether it’s giving a good education or ensuring that poor children have a better life. Paathshala Trust caters to the specific requirements of children, providing them with a good start, opportunities to learn, and safety from violence. They chose to follow in the footsteps of their mentor, Nobel Peace Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi, who gave Om Prakash a new lease on life by releasing him from child labor.

Funding for this campaign is eligible for tax breaks as Paathshala Foundation as an NGO is a registered trust & you can avail of benefits under section 80G of the IT act. Foreign funding is accepted too.
FAQs
Will we get to know the details of who benefitted?
Yes. After the money has been collected it will be transferred by Fueladream to Paathshala Foundation. It will take from 2 to 4 months after that to get details of fund use. Once I get this information from them I shall upload this on the UPDATES section of this campaign. You will then get an alert & can read details about the beneficiaries. ( WHICH SCHOOL AND HOW MANY STUDENTS)
When do I get the receipts?
It takes up to 2 weeks after the campaign is closed for the monies to be transferred to NGO. The receipts will start getting processed about 4 to 6 weeks AFTER the campaign is closed and will be sent to you directly.
