Gurucharan Gill is a 45-year-old National Level Veteran Table Tennis player. He Ranks at No. 2 at the Maharashtra state level and India in the Top 16. He has won several medals in Table Tennis at the state and national levels. He has qualified to represent India at the World Table Tennis Championship to be held at Muscat, Oman from 15th Jan to 22nd Jan 2023. It's a huge opportunity and he will make India proud. I am doing this campaign to help support him with the high expenses of participating in the competition as he hails from a very humble family.
THE INITIATIVE
Gurucharan Gill was born as the youngest son of a humble cab driver who still drives his cab around Mumbai. At the age of 12, he started playing football and practicing boxing in his humble neighborhood. He started shining in these two sports as he was very passionate about them. But his mother became concerned when he came back with hurts and wounds after the boxing fights and stopped him from going into them again. Boxing was his passion and quitting it made a great vacant in his life which was filled by table Tennis when two of his friends took him to the YMCA to play the game. He was instantly in love with the game and there was no turning back. In a short time, he became the Champion of the YMCA and started winning medals in various State and National level Championships.
A suave and soft-spoken Gurcharan Singh Gill has won many accolades in table tennis circles, first as a state-level player and later as a table tennis coach. He has been doing Yemon service to the game. Having been involved in coaching school-going boys and girls at his own academy – Guru Table Tennis Centre at Malad – he has been credited to have produced a galore of young players, who have won laurels at the state and national level competitions.
He is now participating in the World Table Tennis Championship to be held at Muscat, Oman from 15th to 21st Jan 2023. He needs support to be able to participate and make his dream of winning a medal come true.
A TOTAL OF INR 1.15L IS REQUIRED TO FUEL MR. GURUCHARAN'S DREAM OF PARTICIPATING IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP.

ABOUT ME
My name is Karthik Rajesh Krishnamoorthy, an AS-level student at the Prabhavati Padamshi Soni International Junior College of the Juhu Parle Education Society, which is located on the same campus as the Utpal Shanghvi Global School in Juhu, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
I adore the game of table tennis, and I've been learning it at the Guru TT Center in Malad West, Mumbai, with Shri Gurucharan Singh Gill (or Guru Sir as we all affectionately refer to him). I consider myself grateful to have Guru Sir in my life as a coach, guide, and well-wisher. I have known him for the past five years. All of us pupils adore and appreciate him in the same way.
