HELP SUBMARINE IN SPACE GO INTERNATIONAL WITH THEIR 2nd LIVE ALBUM: F5. by Abhishek Mittal | Fueladream

We are Submarine In Space, an Instrumental Jazz Rock Band from New Delhi. Its been 4 years since we started writing music and have had the fortune to play at Festivals like NH7 Weekender 2019 (Alongside Opeth, Kodaline and Chet Faker), Magnetic Fields 2018, Opening for Plini at Delhi in 2019 and also did our International Tour to Nepal in 2019. Our debut album Wavelengths was voted as one of the top releases of 2018 by Rockstreet journal and received a lot of love and support from artists like Ehsaan Noorani, Blackstrat Blues and Uday Benegal.

When we started Wavelengths, our debut album, our collective aim was to release at least one album in 2 years but due to Covid-19, we could not afford it even though we have 2 albums written. We do not have the funds to record and release our music. The good thing that happened in these 2 years was that we got the time and space we needed to work and sort out every detail of the music.

Since we are an independent band, we do not have any management or record labels to fund the production costs of recording the album. Our plan is to record the album in May and we will start releasing the tracks in the last week of July.

We are confident that with the funds generated we will help represent India in the International Instrumental music scene. We have also gone one level deeper into the making of the album and have got our dear friend Fidel from Panama to play percussions and Warren Mendonsa to mix and master.

We require INR 12L to bring our music album to life. Through this campaign, we aim to raise INR 4L to make our dream a reality.

When will the Album be launched?

We aim to use a hybrid model of launching our album starting with singles from the last week of July leading upto the full album by the end of this year.

Its been ONE WEEK INTO THE CAMPAIGN and we truly appreciate to have received support from you in such large numbers and are extremely motivated to record the 2nd album due in the first week of May. A little update from our end: We are recording at the studio of Sanskar TV situated in Film City Noida and are in the last phase of finalizing our production.
