THE CONTEXT:
Kharghar Ayyappa Seva Sangham (KASS) is a spiritual and charitable organisation registered under the B.P.T. Act 1950 in the year 2005 in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. As of 1 January, 2022 KASS has 750 life members and it is managed by an elected working committee of 17 Managing Trustees.
The single-minded and avowed objective of this campaign and all the KASS devotees has been to build a temple for the Kaliyuga Varadan (Ayyappan) in Kharghar, to further the spiritual quest and consciousness of the devotees and for the wellbeing of humanity. The estimated total cost of construction of the temple complex is INR 5.00 crores. Of this INR 2.76 crores has been raised and many parts of the temple complex have been completed. This campaign aims to raise INR 2.00 crores to complete the remaining work of the temple.
BACKGROUND:
Me and other devotees are doing this campaign to help raise the balance amount of INR 2.00 crores. Fund generously and let us make this temple a place of worship for lakhs of devotees.
The relentless pursuit of this goal by the KASS members and the devotees began its fruition with the allotment of land by CIDCO for the construction of a temple complex. A plot measuring 702.63 square meters was allotted in Kharghar in September 2015.

Immediately on the allotment of the plot, KASS began to take all necessary steps for the construction of the temple in right earnest. All the rituals and ceremonies associated with the temple constructions were conducted as per the set schedules. Brahmashri Azhakath Prakashan Namboothiripad was appointed as the ‘Thanthri’ and Shri Kanippayyur Krishnan Namboothiripad as the temple architect.

The temple construction began immediately and with the wholehearted support and generous contributions from KASS’s members and devotees, it has completed the construction of the Temple and Thidappalli in March 2019. The temple is built in the Kerala tantric style with Panchaloha (five metal alloys of sacred significance) Vigraham (idol) for Ayyappa, and black stone Vigrahams for Ganapati and Devi.
Later, KASS started the construction of the Satsang hall in January 2020 and so far they have completed the work of the superstructure. KASS needs to complete the remaining work of the Satsang hall along with the compound wall and Gopuram, for which the estimated cost is Rs.2.00 crores.

My name is C P Santosh Kumar. I am a concerned citizen and am keen to see this Ayyappa Temple Complex come to life and get completed soon.
I have undertaken this campaign because I believe that a temple is a sacred place built to provide us with a serene surrounding that enables us to pray, meditate, clear our thoughts and help us approach divinity. I was fascinated by the idea of an Ayyappan Temple complex in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai and the impact it will make. It will impact thousands of fellow citizens. Your funding will go a long way to realise this dream.
The "Temple structure" and "Thidappalli" at the Ayyappa Temple complex in Kharghar have already been built. The funds collected through this campaign will be used to construct the Gopuram (Main entrance) & Satsang hall for the temple complex. Let us come together and make sure that this magnificent temple complex is finished quickly.

Kharghar Ayyappa Seva Sangham (KASS) is a spiritual and charitable organization registered under the B.P.T. Act 1950 in the year 2005 in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai (Dist. Raigad, Maharashtra). As of 1 January 2022 KASS has 750 life members and it is managed by an elected working committee of 17 Managing Trustees. Since its inception, KASS has been actively involved in promoting religious, spiritual and cultural pursuits of people by regularly organizing Ayyappa poojas, bhajans, spiritual discourses, and cultural and religious programmes to celebrate various Hindu festivals. Until around 2019 these poojas and bhajans were organized out of its rented premises and at the residences of the devotees. The construction of the Temple with Ayyappa as the main deity and Ganapathi and Annapoorneswari as upa-devatas was completed in March 2019.
KASS has also been involved in charitable causes by extending medical and educational assistance to the needy, irrespective of caste or creed.

These receipts will NOT be eligible for tax benefits as KASS does not have an 80G tax benefit eligibility. Foreign funding is not allowed. Only fund if you are an Indian citizen, please.
