THE BACKGROUND

As we live and practice social distancing, stocking rations, isolating our worlds, and adopting a work-from-home culture, there is a part of our society that still has no food for the next meal, no roof over their heads, no work. The COVID-19 crisis continues to disproportionately hurt millions of urban poor living in slums across major cities in India.

Thousands of daily wage labourers are impacted because of COVID-19. While the government will provide some of them with relief packages we need to understand that the task is massive. Many are not registered, are migrant labour and need our help to survive this crisis.

Just INR 4500 impacts 3 families.

Just INR 7500 impacts 5 families.

Just INR 15000 impacts 10 families.

Funds from this campaign will be utilized across Chandigarh. This campaign is being done under the banner of StudentWorks and in partnership with the NGO - ResponseNet.

All funding has 80G benefits.

THE RATION KIT

ABOUT ME

My name is jasria. I am 16 years old and in Grade 11 at the vivek high school Chandigarh.
Hi! So you already know my basic information. I basically like to volunteer a lot, I feel like it is a small way of helping people and providing them with basic necessities. I've been donating and volenteering since I was in grade 7, so that kind of gives you a history. Recently during the vivid pandemic I have donated some items to the mother Teresa home , provided our maids and others with their daily groceries, also donated some funds for oxygen cylinders. This kind of gives you an idea that I am dedicated to help others. I do not do it for any profits but only to help out those who need it .
Thank you

How does crowdfunding work?

Crowdfunding in India is a relatively new concept & is growing very quickly.

It’s a concept that allows a large number of funders (like you) to fund an idea or a cause or event by giving small amounts of money online. Fueladream.com is a crowdfunding platform in India that allows for such pooling of funds. You can fund innovations & ideas on FuelADream and be the first to get these products or make them come true. You can also do a good turn by funding charities and causes through crowdfunding. When you fund a charity it’s more like a donation & you get small innovative rewards like a shout-out on an FB page or a thank you email from the beneficiaries.
